Muscular Dystrophy Australia (MDA) is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate skilled volunteers to serve as companions for participants at Camp MDA, taking place from Friday 11 Sunday 13 April 2025. Camp MDA is a three-day experience for children aged 10 15 living with neuromuscular disease. Based at Urban Camp in Parkville, Victoria, you will provide daily care assistance for campers, offering friendship, support, and encouragement, and helping them to foster a sense of belonging. Volunteering with MDA comes with benefits including gaining experience working with children with a wide range of abilities and needs in a supportive and inclusive environment, building lasting friendships and networks with other allied health students and disability support workers, and receiving a formal certificate of appreciation from MDA.
